A life-time of creativity in the arts, a frustration with the lack of opportunity for others to develop in the arts, and something has to erupt!

Wendy Allen have spent much of her life throwing sparks into holes in the ground, invoking volcanos. The plan has been to reach all levels of society and light up their lives.

In 1989 she published Running on Rainbows an arts program for all ages. She workshopped at schools and Universities throughout Queensland, USA, Canada and New Zealand for the next 15 years. Reprinted twice, Running on Rainbows is still being used 29 years after its first publication.  It lives on!

Demographics change. The focus is now on grandparents and parents who are baby-sitting children at home AND … at the same time finally having time to develop their own creativity.

Ready, go! is a collection of art activities with two objectives – to provide first steps for children to creative areas which might lead them to future occupations or life-time interests; and, to give the grown-ups the opportunity to develop in these areas also.
