Malcolm Carter [BA (Hons), PGCE, DipM, MACE] has more than forty years’ experience as a teacher of science, reaching the level of school Principal. During this time he collaborated in writing a chemistry textbook. After retiring from teaching, he joined his wife Lyn, in providing professional development for teachers of science and mathematics in the secondary and upper primary years and collaborated in writing How to Write What You Want to Say … in Science. Malcolm is an experienced player of Contract Bridge, having won many State and National championships. Malcolm and Lyn now teach and direct bridge on cruise ships. When at home, they participate in a weekly program of teaching bridge to children and have recently released a book describing the successful methods that they have developed in this program.
