TIMES & RHYMES: Love in the time of Covid is a charming, topical collection of 177 poems written from 10 March 2019 to 13 October 2022 by David Paxton and Margaret Paxton-Rolfe AM who now live on Coochiemudlo Island in Moreton Bay, Queensland. They married on 5 May 2020 on the island, during Covid restrictions: each had suffered the loss of a spouse of fifty years.
The poems chronicle a tumult of personal, local, national and international events. Margaret and David write of their feelings and responses to Covid, climate change and natural disasters, politics and war, as well as of their affection for each other and for the community and place in which they live.
