Will Mosley, Katie Littlefield and Eleanor Labiosa

This book started on a night shift at an outback Australian mine in 2009. Will was using the phonetic radio (Alpha, Bravo) to talk to his teammates in large mining trucks, when he challenged himself to find a quirky alternative. The first dozen letters were solved quickly, but for the rest, he needed help! In 2014, Will was joined in this international word search by his now-wife Katie and Katie’s family friend, Eleanor. Will and Katie hope these pages inspire you to explore different sounds from different cultures and imagine new words.

From Eleanor’s first mud pie to her latest creation, her artistic endeavors have always fed from nature’s cornucopia whether expressed in paint, wax, wood, or fiber. She happily tackled this project because quirky spelling has always come naturally to her.

Eleanor is currently working to lure her progeny (three children, four grandchildren
and two great grandchildren), back to her family roots in Virginia’s lovely Shenandoah Valley where she once again resides.
