Energy
Boolarong Press has installed solar panels on the roof to minimise our carbon emissions. We are investigating professional, ethical carbon offsets that have integrity which will allow us to produce carbon neutral books in the future.
Waste
All of our paper offcuts and any board are collected and recycled for further production of paper. All of our toner cartridges are sent to the collection and recycling business to be made into different products.
We currently use 50% of a residential bin for waste to landfill. We continue to assess our waste to attain zero waste as soon as possible.
