Florence was born in France, and after graduating in an advertising and drawing diploma, moved to computers, doing graphic design in Paris.
She moved to Australia in 1997. After a period at home raising a family, she went back to full time work as a graphic designer in the book industry. Also at that time she decided to try botanical art and joined the Botanical Society of Queensland in 2012, specialising in coloured pencils.
A keen photographer and an interest of all things creative, she published a colouring book in 2015.
