Janet Spillman is a volunteer bush care worker for Brisbane City Council’s Habitat Brisbane, weeding and planting on the lower slopes of Mt Coot-tha. She is a member of the Royal Historical Society of Queensland, the Brisbane History Group and locally the Toowong History Group.
Living at the base of Mt Coot-tha for many years has inpired the writing of this history.
