When my year 6 teacher told my mum my Naplan writing results were below the national average, mum suggested I write out my fairy house designs. Making fairy houses and fairy twig furniture with my friends was my favourite pastime back then. It turned out there were no childrens craft books in the world that taught children how to make their own fairy houses, so my instructions became a book. A beautiful craft book that shows children how to make a whole village of fairy houses and trolls caves and a great way to grow young imaginations. Now I am helping to spread the gift of literacy and have just finished fund raising for and building a library in Bungaya village Bali.
