Bob Kenchington was born in the South of England.
At about the age of nine, his father’s cycle shop business collapsed, owing thousands of pounds to creditors.
Bob’s father sold the family home to meet his debts and over the following few years the family lived in variable conditions, which Bob describes as, “poverty like”.
From these humble beginnings, Bob was determined to rise above those desperate times experienced as a youngster and never again be subjected to the financial despair that had beset his family in that early period.
At the end of his school years Bob commenced work as a Trainee Chef, which led him on a fascinating career path in the Food Service Industry, eventually leading him to Australia and the commencement of his own series of businesses.
N.B. Bob will be donating earnings from the book sales to the Australian Cancer Research Foundation.
