Dimity Mortensen was born and educated in Sydney. She lived in London for seven years, working at Christie’s Fine Art Auction House and travelling through the Middle East, Europe and Eastern Europe including Russia. She decided to return home to Australia to start her career as a writer, and has since been published in some of the top literary journals in Australia. Her first novel, Love: A Parable Without a Moral, published in 2008, was positively reviewed by the Gold Coast’s Weekend Bulletin as “Imaginative” describing it as, “In a word: Compelling.” The Gatton, Lockyer and Brisbane Valley Star, Wolykat, likewise highly praised it as, “…a book that I would recommend to anyone…”
This is her first non-fiction book.
