After completing his studies in education in 1959, Peter Nunan taught high school English, history and geography in Queensland, New South Wales, the United Kingdom, and Canada. On retirement in 1993 he joined the library at the Queensland Maritime Museum where he enjoys researching and bringing to light stories of our maritime heritage by making them known in books and magazine articles. Peter lives in Brisbane with his wife, Karen.
