Brisbane Souvenir Bicentennial Map (unframed) 594 mm x 420 mm

This map was produced to recognise 200 years since John Oxley sailed up the river and named it the Brisbane River in honour of the Governor of New South Wales, Thomas Brisbane.

In 1824 the  Moreton Bay Penal Settlement was moved from First Nations land in Redcliffe to First Nations land in Brisbane.

The new Bicentennial Map, (size A2)  includes the original 1923 Centennial Map and drawings of Brisbane’s iconic buildings over the last 200 years.
