Disaster struck Junes life on 18 January 1977 in the form of the Granville Train Disaster, were both her daughters Cathy, 19, and Lyndy, 18, were killed in the crash. This event shattered June’s life, leaving her with no-one to help pick up the pieces. Battling depression and crippling despair June struggled to get her life back together, she eventually reinvented herself and launched a career in fashion retail, travelling around the globe and becoming a successful businesswoman.
