This is an amazing book. I read it almost in one go, could not put it down. It is funny, thoughtful and gives terrific insights into life on a central western Queensland sheep station from the Seventies until the Nineties. I Chose The Dusty Plains is very well written too. And the author Erica is quite a character, I liked her very much.
