Set in pre-historic times, Triz is the story of a small gliding lizard. Entrusted by his good friend Marjorie, to babysit her unhatched egg for the day, things don’t quite go quite as planned. Faced with challenge after challenge and staring death in the face at every turn, does he give up? Not a chance.

Frances Hawkins –
The Adventures of Triz: The Babysitter is a beautifully written and illustrated story which would appeal to younger readers. The narrative is crafted to captivate the reader and the illustrations are intricate with hidden details for the keen eye to discover. It is a humorous story and would delight young children.
Hopefully, a sequel will be produced by these talented brothers.

A funny and clever story, with illustrations that seem to almost move on the page. Look a little closer with a magnifying glass and you will see even more than you can with the naked eye. Not only will the kids love hearing the story, but adults will love reading it….over and over again.

I was so excited to receive my copy in the mail and it did not disappoint! I read it to my nieces and they were immediately drawn in by the character Triz and were laughing the whole time at all the funny situations Triz finds himself in. The illustrations are incredible and really pull the narrative together. It was great fun looking at all the little details in the background. I can see this being picked up again and again by my nieces as one of their favourites.

My 2.5 year old absolutely loves Triz! It’s one of her frequent requests for bedtime. She loves investigating the pictures and all the crazy things Triz gets up to.

A delightful book! Funny abs full of adventure! And beautifully illustrated!
I loved it so much I purchased 7 copies, one for each of my family with children under 9, and one more for my grandson who is 12, who although is an avid reader and I’m sure he will appreciate all the little surprises and intricacies, each page has to offer, story line and illustration. The attention to detail is truly wonderful.

A wonderful book for my youngest grandson, who checked out the pictures before we read book to him. He was mesmerized by the contents and the story line. Has become one we read to him on a weekly basis. Now his older brother reads the book to our grandson to bring the participation full circle. We are now waiting for the sequel or the next adventure for Triz. Highly recommended!!
