Set in the Mediterranean world over 800 years ago. It was the time of a gigantic clash between Christian Europe and the Muslim Arab people of the Middle East. Our history calls this confrontation the ‘Crusades’, but the Arabs saw it as a series of bloody invasions.

Luca’s journey began in Amalfi where he enjoyed a life of privilege. He was denied happiness with his first love, and her subsequent loss was a traumatic, life-changing experience. Luca joined ‘The Children’s Crusade’ to the Holy Land to convert the Muslims.

This was just the beginning of a life of challenge, triumph and tragedy. Will Luca’s personal crusade end in glory?
